1. Who we are
YSV Financial (“YSV Financial,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides consulting and funding strategy services to home service businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and during the course of our work with clients, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using our website or submitting information to us, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly and a limited amount of technical information collected automatically.
Information you provide
Name, business name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, and anything you choose to tell us in a form, email, call, or message.
Business and financial information
If we begin working together, you may share operational, financial, or capital-related information — revenue, margins, bank statements, tax documents, existing debt, or similar records. We request only what is relevant to the engagement.
Automatically collected information
IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring URLs, and general location, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government-issued identification numbers through our website forms. Do not submit that information through the site.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and schedule strategy calls
- Evaluate your situation and deliver consulting and funding strategy services
- Prepare and, with your authorization, submit information to lenders or funding partners
- Communicate about your engagement, including updates and next steps
- Improve our website, services, and materials
- Meet legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing information
We share information only where it is necessary to do the work or where we are required to. That includes service providers who support our operations (email, scheduling, document storage, CRM, analytics, and payment processing), professional advisors such as accountants and attorneys, and any party where disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.
If our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
5. Funding partners and lenders
Part of our work involves helping clients evaluate capital options. When you ask us to explore funding on your behalf, we share the relevant business and financial information you provide with lenders, brokers, or funding partners so they can assess a potential offer.
Those parties are independent third parties with their own privacy practices, and their handling of your information is governed by their policies, not this one. Lenders may also obtain credit reports or other information directly from you or from third-party sources. We will confirm with you before submitting your information for funding review.
6. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working correctly, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use the site. We may use third-party analytics and advertising tools that set their own cookies and report aggregate activity to us.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site function. We do not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals at this time.
7. Data retention
We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, and afterward as required for legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations or to resolve disputes. Client engagement records are generally retained for the duration of the relationship and for a reasonable period after it ends.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including access controls and reputable third-party platforms for storage and communication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive financial documents over unsecured email.
9. Your choices and rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal and contractual limits. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or national privacy laws, including the right to know what categories of information we collect and the right to opt out of certain sharing.
To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
10. Communications
When you submit a form or give us your contact details, you agree that we may contact you by email or phone about your inquiry and our services. Separately and optionally, if you check the SMS consent box on our contact form, you agree to receive transactional text messages from YSV Financial about your strategy call request only, including confirmations, scheduling, and follow-up. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages to numbers collected through this form. SMS consent is optional and is not required to submit the form or to receive our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email. We may still send messages necessary to an active engagement.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
11. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
