1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the YSV Financial website and any services we provide. By using the site, submitting a form, or engaging us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or our services.
If you accept these terms on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
2. What we do
YSV Financial provides business consulting and funding strategy services to home service businesses. That work may include reviewing operations, pricing, sales process, team performance, and financial structure, and helping you evaluate capital options and prepare for funding conversations.
The scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for any specific engagement are set out in a separate written proposal or agreement. Where that agreement conflicts with these terms, the engagement agreement controls.
3. No legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice
We are business consultants. We are not attorneys, certified public accountants, tax advisors, insurance agents, or registered investment advisors, and nothing we provide is legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice. Content on this site is general information, not advice tailored to your situation.
You are responsible for consulting your own licensed professionals before acting on anything we discuss, and all business decisions remain yours.
4. Funding disclosures
We are not a bank or a lender, and we do not make credit decisions or issue capital. When funding is part of an engagement, we help you evaluate options, understand tradeoffs, prepare materials, and — with your authorization — connect you with third-party lenders or funding partners.
All rates, terms, fees, approval decisions, and funding timelines are set by those third parties, not by us. You are responsible for reading and understanding any financing agreement before you sign it. We may receive compensation from a funding partner in connection with a completed transaction; we will disclose that relationship on request.
No submission of information guarantees an offer of credit, and no engagement with us guarantees approval or any particular rate or structure.
5. No guarantee of results
Any figures, statistics, testimonials, or case examples shown on this site reflect specific situations and are not a promise of what your business will achieve. Results depend on factors outside our control, including your market, execution, team, and economic conditions. We do not guarantee revenue, profit, margin, funding, or any other specific outcome.
6. Client responsibilities
Our work depends on what you give us. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information, to respond to reasonable requests in a timely way, and to have the authority to share any records you send us. Submitting false or misleading information — particularly in a funding context — may end the engagement immediately and may carry legal consequences from lenders.
7. Engagements, fees, and cancellation
Fees, payment schedules, and billing terms are defined in your engagement agreement. Unless that agreement says otherwise, invoices are due on receipt, fees are non-refundable once work has begun, and either party may end the engagement with written notice — with you remaining responsible for work performed through the termination date.
Scheduling a call through this site does not create an engagement or any obligation on either side.
8. Confidentiality
We treat non-public business and financial information you share with us as confidential and use it only to perform our work. We may disclose it to service providers, professional advisors, and — with your authorization — funding partners, or where required by law. This obligation does not apply to information that is public, that we already had, or that we receive independently from a third party.

9. Intellectual property
The site and its content — text, design, graphics, logos, frameworks, templates, and materials — are owned by YSV Financial or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Deliverables we create for you may be used inside your business for its own purposes, but our underlying methods, frameworks, and templates remain ours. You may not resell, republish, or redistribute our materials without written permission.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, interfere with its operation, scrape or copy it at scale, or use it to transmit malicious code or unsolicited messages. We may suspend access for any use that violates these terms.
11. Third-party links and services
Our site may link to third-party websites, lenders, or tools. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, terms, privacy practices, or the products they offer. Any dealings you have with a third party are between you and that party.
12. Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that the information on it is complete or current.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YSV Financial and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of the site or our services.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount of fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars if no fees were paid. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold YSV Financial harmless from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising out of your use of the site, your breach of these terms, information you provided that was inaccurate or that you were not authorized to share, or your business decisions and agreements with third parties.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which YSV Financial is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any formal action, the parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute directly. Any remaining dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that state, and both parties consent to that venue.
16. Changes and general terms
We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the site after that means you accept the changes. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with any engagement agreement, are the entire agreement between us.
